Psychiatrists are medical doctors who are trained and specialised to work with individuals with different mental health problems. Our psychiatrists can offer generic and private psychiatric assessments or a second opinion to help you understand your diagnosis and guide you to the right treatment and support. Our psychiatrists can also prescribe medication, undertake medication reviews, and follow up in the community.

Our children service Is designed for children and young people who are struggling with mental health problems the following problems: depression, problems with food and eating, abuse, violence or anger, bipolar disorder, and different types of anxiety our exclusion criteria include; those at risks to self, risks to others with some of the neurodevelopmental difficulties diagnosis (ASD, ADHD) and others.
Our main modality used for children is Cognitive Behavioural therapy, trauma focused CBT and Mindfulness approaches where we work in collaboration with a parent or caregiver and discuss goals and develop a treatment plan depending on the child and the goals that can be adapted to meet cultural or regional differences.
Creativity Arts, drawing crafts and role-playing to help young people to express their emotions in positive way and be engaged with activities and help them to work on their problems and find solutions.
• Trauma-focused CBT. This method is used to treat children affected by traumatic events, including natural disasters, different types of abuse and witnessing domestic violence. The therapist will focus on behavioural and cognitive issues directly related to trauma the child has experienced to help them process the trauma in a more supportive way.
• Thoughts restructuring. This intervention is designed to help young people to learn to challenge negative thoughts and replace those with more positive ones.
• Behavioural experiment and exposure. This technique involves the therapist to slowly exposes the young person to the things that trigger anxiety in a way that feels safe and supportive.
• Good behavioural encouragement where the therapist will work with the young person to help them develop their self-organisation and building resilience and motivation in different areas such; schoolwork, learning basic life skills such as; cleaning, tidying and manage relationship with others.
• At the initial stage of CBT, we provide Individual. Sessions involve only the child and the therapist. At later stage (when appropriate) we will encourage the child to engage in group Includes the child, therapist, and other children who are dealing with the same or similar problems.
• Parent-child. The therapist works with the child and parents together, teaching specific parenting skills so their children make the most of CBT.
